Changing Hypori Launcher

Hypori allows you to select different launchers to customize the look, feel, and behavior of your virtual workspace as you’re accessing it via the Hypori Client. You can view a video of this procedure here. 

Launchers

In Hypori version 2023.3 and later, the Bliss Launcher is the default and recommended launcher. This launcher gives the home screen of your Android-based Hypori virtual workspace more of an iOS look and feel. Figure 1- Hypori Home - Bliss Launcher

The Quickstep launcher leaves your Hypori virtual workspace’s home screen looking more like an Android device. While some users may prefer this look, it is not the default or documented experience when using Hypori Halo.  Figure 2- Hypori Home - Quickstep Launcher

Procedure

If you’d like to change your launcher to figure out what works best for you:

From the Hypori Client home screen, select Settings.

In the Settings menu, select Apps.
Select Default apps.
Then Home app.
Select the desired Launcher. After selection, you’ll be taken back to your home screen where the change is displayed. (Similar to Figure 1 and Figure 2)
